When the poor need food baskets, clothing, furniture, appliances or housewares at no cost, where do they go?
Fortunately, there is an answer. We operate a warehouse that helps the poor with free food, clothing, furniture, appliances & housewares, called Benevolence Center. The poor can come to us eight times a week for these items, at no cost. Each month, we help more than 1,000 poor people with these items.
Best of all, many of the people we help make a decision to follow Jesus Christ through our Gospel services conducted in our Benevolence Center chapel. In fact, more than 100 decisions to follow Christ are made there each month!
Food Baskets. The poor can come and receive free food baskets from Benevolence Center once each month. More than 500 families monthly are helped with a food basket, which includes frozen meat, dairy products, fresh vegetables, bread, and nonperishable items. Food baskets are designed to help a family be fed for a couple of weeks.
Clothing, Furniture, Appliances & Housewares. Those in need can also come to Benevolence Center and receive free clothing, furniture, appliances and housewares. More than 500 people are helped each month through this valuable service.
Services of Benevolence Center are offered at no cost to the public. There are no geographic restrictions. We offer the Gospel before each shopping time so that the REAL need is met: encouragement through Jesus Christ!
