CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS

Join Our Cause – 2017 Holiday Meals

We’re just like you. We’re teachers, business executives, parents, retirees, students…you name it. But, the one thing we all have in common is our dedication to change and carry out the mission of Jesus Christ. The more volunteers we have, the bigger impact we can all make together in the 61605 community.

Children and Youth Ministry G.A.P. Program

The Children and Youth Ministry Greater Academic Progress G.A.P. Tutoring Program is off to a great start!

This year’s theme focuses on Deuteronomy 33:11a NIV. Bless all his skills, LORD, and be pleased with the work of his hands.

The teachers and volunteers are excited and ready to provide quality tutoring in all academic subjects. Students will also enjoy a hearty snack, Biblical instruction, and other activities.

For more information please contact the Children and Youth Ministry at (309) 676-4604.

South Side Mission’s 2017 Senior Health Expo

South Side Mission’s 9th Annual Senior Health Expo was a huge success. We had over 130 seniors that received medical education, basic healthcare screenings, a hot meal and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This year more than 50 businesses partnered with us to provide helpful information, love and support to the seniors in the 61605 community.
