Frank Winfrey 02

Rev. G. Frank Winfrey, Co-Executive Director, Chaplaincy – I grew up in Greensboro, NC and am the proud husband of Robin for 32 years.  I am blessed to be the Dad of four great kids and Grandpa to three grandkids.  Robin and I had the privilege of serving with Cru in Swaziland and South Africa.  We then were involved with leading two churches in PA and here in Peoria before I came to the Mission in 1997.  It is such a joy to see God changing lives here.

Linda Butler, Director – When I reflect on my faith journey which I started as a child, I humbly and confidently serve in my Kingdom assignments at South Side Mission as the New Promise Center Director and community Chaplain. I joined the ministry team in October 2003 after an internship and residency program in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Bromenn Healthcare Medical Center.  In the years leading up to that, I worked 20 years in broadcast management and community relations at WPEO Christian Radio.  Co-currently with my ministry in broadcasting, I also served in leadership at my church as a Sunday school teacher, Director of Women’s Ministry and Director of Civic Affairs.

I’ve also been blessed with many opportunities to  participate in community service for 35 years and international ministry in the West Indies for 16 years. My husband and I are members Heaven’s View Christian Fellowship Church in Peoria.

Mike Winters – I grew up in Mississippi and moved to Peoria in 1985. I am blessed by God for the passion he gave me to touch growth in kids, at the beginning of their learning. South Side Mission gives me the opportunity to freely share the love of God through biblical life skills showing the transformational love He has for us, especially the youth.
